Pecan Hall Red Oak

Northwest Vista College in San Antonio, Texas was remodeling one of their buildings, Pecan Hall. On the ground floor was a dance studio that was being gutted and repurposed as something other than a dance studio. Along 3 of the walls a Red Oak Rail was mounted to 2 x 12 Red Oak boards which, in turn, were mounted to the walls. The project manager, who is a friend of mine, called and asked me if I would be interested in hauling it off since the college had no use for it. Obviously I said yes and drove to the college the next morning and got every last bit of it including the rail. So, i have named this beautiful Red Oak after the hall on the Northwest Vista College from whence it came.
