Using Reclaimed Wood With A Story
I’m Will Salt, and I work with reclaimed wood that might otherwise be lost — trees that have been cut down or taken by a storm, boards from old barns, fences, and sheds, lumber pulled from remodeling or demolition work, brush piles, and wood that someone has had sitting around for years.
Sometimes the wood comes with a story already attached to it. Sometimes the story starts with where I found it and what I turn it into.
Everything is handcrafted here in Seguin, Texas, and I try to make things that will be used, not just looked at.
