Caring for Your Cutting Board: Simple Dos and Don’ts
Keep your cutting board looking sharp and lasting for generations with these simple do’s and don’ts.
I’m Will, the one-man shop behind Salt Shaker Woodworks in Seguin, Texas. I’ve been working wood since I was 10, and at 74 I’m still at the bench. I use reclaimed woods with stories—trees I’ve milled myself, curbside finds, or stock from other woodworkers—so every piece carries history. My job is simple: bring out the beauty God put in the wood and build something that serves its purpose well for a long time.
