Stockdale White Oak

A friend that helped me build our house out in Stockdale, Texas had a huge oak tree on his land that had been down for an undetermined amount of time and asked if I wanted it. If not, he planned on burning it in place. I obviously took him up on his offer. After milling it into rough-sawn stock, I let it dry for a few more months, and am still using wood from that tree.
